Go forth therefore in Battle, & Safely Home.

May Thy Light, O most high Lord, illuminate me
& Thy Lamp show me the paths
so that I see what I have been & what I am,
& fear what I may become to be. 

Lighted up, most high King, my understanding
& inflamed my will; Draw me on to seek Thee. 

I am for my Beloved,
& (although I am unworthy), my Beloved is for me.

Strengthen, O Lord, my weakness that I may run after Thee,
& reaching Thee, I may never leave Thee or lose Thee.
